Counselling session cancellation policy
Telehealth sessions require full payment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
I require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
- More than 24 hours’ notice: no charge applies, and we can find a new time that works for you.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice, or non-attendance without notice: the full session fee is payable.
If a cancellation fee is outstanding, future appointments cannot be booked until it has been paid.
Why this policy exists
This policy helps protect the time and care that goes into each session — for you, and for other clients who may be waiting for an appointment. A reserved time that goes unused means another person couldn’t access support during that slot, and time set aside for your session can’t easily be reallocated at short notice.
If you have any questions about this policy, feel free to raise it with me directly — happy to talk it through.
